Custom Overlay Explained
We get this question a lot. The custom overlay is a graphical image or text that is placed over all of your photo booth pictures when they are taken. It can be anything from a logo, text, images etc. that commemorate the event. For businesses it's a great branding opportunity. We offer samples that you can choose from and can customize them to your event. We have provided some samples below.
Photo Booth FAQ
Q: Do you offer open air photo booths or enclosed photo booths?
A: We offer both actually. Keep in mind that the enclosed photo booth is an additional cost and requires a certain amount of space to be set up. Depending on venue size & setting, you may not have the space required for an enclosed photo booth.
Q: Can I use my own backdrop?
A: Yes you can we just request that it be on site and set up before we arrive, so that we can get the photo booth set up.
Q: What are premium props?
A: Premium props refer to our photo booth signs. While others use signs that are flimsy and cheap, we use signs that are more durable and just plain old look better in your pictures.
Q: Can we retake pictures?
A: Of course you can. You and your guests can have as many photo booth sessions as you like.
Q: What is the online gallery?
A: We put all of your pictures from the event on our website in a password protected gallery. Once all the pictures are up (usually within 48 hours) we send you the link and the password so you can view all of the pictures from the event. Your gallery is available for a minimum of 6 months.
Q: What is the green screen?
A: The green screen is a background that is used in place of a standard background. You can select an image that you would like to use for the background of all of your photo booth pictures and we will set it up. When your guests take a picture, the background will be that image that you selected. If your guests have any green colored clothing on, they will defeat the green screen effect so it is best to advise your guests ahead of time just in case they would like to use the green screen photo booth.
Q: What is a custom photo overlay?
A: A custom overlay may consist of a border, images, and or text that will be on every photo booth picture (Ex. Happy Holidays, Thank you for coming!, etc.). We have templates available that you can select.
Q: What size are the photo booth prints?
A: The prints are 4-inches by 6-inches.
Q: Where can I get a custom banner or step & repeat banner?
A: Revellers Entertainment can produce these in house & we can provide you with an estimate for your event.
Q: How many pictures can guests take at my event?
A: Guests can take as many pictures as they want at your event.
Q: What is a GIF video?
A: Gif video is a compilation of photos put together into an animated video form.
